I think your plan looks good, very detailed. I've already told you before, I will be very interested in your topic and your findings. We journal, but I haven't heard of interactive journaling. I think researching a new program or idea your school is using is a great research topic!
ReplyDeleteGreat plan Pam, you've put a great deal of thought and work into your research. I honestly tried to find something I could critique for you but couldn't find anything that you would need to change.
ReplyDeleteMaking a difficult subject, science, and turning it into a fun subject by using modern technology. I like the idea a lot! Will definitely be following your research to see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Joseph - science isn't always our students favorite subject but the use of modern technology could spark some interest. I am interested in seeing your results and like how you are researching the effectiveness of the journals you all are currently using. I can't stand it when we continue to use a process just because "we have always done it this way" and it doesn't actually help students to achieve. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat job, Pam! My only suggestion would be to add detail in how you plan on sharing your research. You mention sharing with teachers & principals. How? At a faculty meeting, at a staff development session, in a private meeting? Good luck on your research!
